App Review: Watching My Favorite Asian Dramas and Movies on VIU app!

I am a big fan of Asian dramas and movies, there is just this something about their plot and cinematography that is very addicting to watch. I normally watch them on myasiantv and kissasian but recently I found a more convenient way to watch Asian dramas on smartphone or iPad, just download the Viu app.

So Viu is basically a streaming app for Asian movies, series, music, lifestyle, and variety shows from Korea, Japan, Thailand, Hong Kong, China and Taiwan with English and Chinese subtitles. They also have a web page where you can also stream your favorite series.

Viu also has this premium monthly subscription program so you can enjoy exclusive privileges. In the Philippines, it costs about 129 pesos and it is billed on my Google Play account. But they actually have a 30-day free-trial for premium so be sure to check it out. You can always cancel your subscription any time you want.

Although I do have a premium account on Viu, I am still seeing ads but lesser compare to a free account I guess. Ads can't just really go away from the businesses, can they?

Viu is currently available on the Asian regions only, specifically Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia, India, Indonesia, Philippines, Thailand, Mongolia, UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait, Oman Bahrain, Egypt, and Jordan.

Verdict:

I like the convenience of the app but there is just too many ads that I can't feel the worthiness of the amount I paid for the premium account. Also, most of the premium episodes (latest episodes that you can't watch if you only have a free account) are available on the free streaming websites so that really lessens the value of the premium subscription. So I guess I would just cancel my subscription on the next month and just watch my favorite series and variety shows on myasiantv or kissasian.

Alright, that is all it for this post, I hope you did enjoy reading. If you have tried using the app, comment down below your experience, I would be so glad to know 'em! Thankies!

Sutla Flawless Papaya Soap and Lightening Lotion Review

Being born as a Filipino, I inherit from my parents the brown-yellowish skin tone that Malay race has. I am not as dark as chocolate nor as white as milk, I'm just somewhere in between and I am completely fine with it even though other people keep bugging me that I should be whiter to look prettier. It actually really upsets me sometimes that they don't think I can be beautiful just because I am not that white but sadly that's just how things are working right now and I have to go with that flow. But even after all that, I still don't want to become as pale as coupon bond. I don't really dream to have a whiter skin but I just want to have an even skin tone from head to toe. I sweat a lot that's why my armpit and neck area are quite darker than my skin tone. I tried a lot of lightening soaps to even out my skin but they have just actually made it worst. And just when I was about to give up, my sister introduced to me the P15.00   Sutla Flawless Papaya Soap . ...

Foundation Review: PeriPera Airy Ink Foundation (03 Sand)

Hey there! It has been a very loooong time since my last update on this blog. Well, this may sound quite embarrassing but the main reason why I couldn't write these past few months is...I forgot that I have a blog. Yeah I know, I'm really forgetful and inconsistent with my writings but I was busy living my life and it's just today that I found some time to write again and take some pictures and make this blog quite alive again, hehe. Alright, I should really cut now my silly introduction. Today I'm going to write a short review on my everyday foundation, the Peripera Airy Ink Foundation.  I bought this from Shopee Philippines last December 2017 for only Php 549 (appx 11 USD). The product comes in this very handy clear matte finished plastic pump bottle. I honestly first thought that the bottle was somewhat glass and not plastic because of how it looks but after a thorough personal investigation, I am convinced that it was plastic. The bottle contains 30 ml ...

Webtoon Favorite: Yumi's Cells

Hello there! It's been a while since my first post in this blog, I got busy with the online courses I have been taking so I kinda forgot that I have actually made a blog *ahahaha*. If I didn't explore my Instagram  account today, I don't think I could ever write again on this blog because my memory really sucks ridiculously. So here I am, back on track again (will surely get lost again in the future XD) with a post dedicated to my most favorite webtoon, the Yumi's Cells !  Yumi's Cells is an on-going webtoon created by Donggeun Lee . The webtoon is originally written in Korean but can also be read in English with the Webtoon  English app. This is actually the first webtoon I have ever read which is why this is my favorite (I tend to attach a lot of emotional values with all of my firsts!). So far, the Yumi's Cells is now at its 276th episode in Korean while 274th in English. The Korean version updates every Tuesday and Friday while the English transla...
